Rupert Rainsford Mann’s background is in interior architecture and design specifically in the yacht, hotel and residential sectors. As a natural progression to the increasing requests to work on his client’s aviation interiors, RMD Air was started as a dedicated design studio for all aviation design requirements.
Rupert and his team are able to offer their clients 9 years of knowledge on aviation interior design, coupled with a fresh and unique approach by placing particular emphasis on the synchronisation between interior and exterior livery.
The design team are well placed to advise on facility choice, fabrications and running programs as well as choosing all third-party ancillary consultants, therefore offering a holistic approach to both green aircraft and refurbishment work.
As a skilled and talented team of designers, the team supports the entire design process to fulfil each project including space planning, upholstery design, monument and joinery design and lighting and AV requirements. All this is presented in 2D + 3D CAD for clarity and accuracy.
RMD Air believes in working closely with colleagues in other areas of the aviation industry and has a successful on-going partnership with many specialist consultants within the industry. We regularly attend trade shows to update ourselves on the latest technology and materials.
